Comedy Central released a South Park Season 18 preview parodying the Redskins during the fourth quarter of their game with the Eagles. After the video aired, Phildelphia went on to score the next ten points on way to a 37-34 victory.

Is a Cartman curse in effect until the Redskins change their name? Will Robert Griffin III be relegated to cartoon appearances after a career beset with injuries?

INSTANT KARMA’S GONNA GET YOU

Maybe the Redskin’s demise had nothing at all to do with Cartman’s curse and was instead the result of accumulated bad karma.

First there was DeSean Jackson’s mocking celebration in the end zone after knotting the game at 27 at the end of the 3rd quarter…

…then there was Redskins nose tackle Chris Baker delivering a brutal forearm shiver to Eagles quarterback Nick Foles after an apparent interception.

A fracas ensued after the cheap shot, before the interception was overturned leading to a tie-breaking TD pass by Foles.

Maybe it’s time for the Redskins to come up with a new name for the franchise. As John Lennon sang, “Instant karma’s gonna get you, gonna knock you right on the head.”
