Stanley Cup stars in flipbook animation and on the road with Chicago Blackhawks

For those that missed the Stanley Finals, it is available now in animated flipbook format for rapid consumption. By way of a summary, the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning four games to two to claim their sixth NHL championship as a franchise, and third title in six seasons.

As for the Stanley Cup trophy itself, summertime means a never ending road trip. Hosted by members of the champion Blackhawks, the Cup made a whirlwind tour of the Windy City before hitting the road in earnest.

The Stanley Cup’s most recent sighting was in Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews’ hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, where it found itself the center of attention at a street hockey game.
