The latest stop on the Stanley Cup’s summer tour was at the Charles M. Schulz museum in Santa Rosa, California. Los Angeles Kings GM Dean Lombardi used his weekend with the Cup to pay tribute to Snoopy, the hockey-loving dog from Schulz’ Peanuts comic strip.

Snoopy has his own hockey rink at the museum which plays host to the world senior hockey tournament. Back in his day, the beloved beagle had some pretty slick moves on the ice.

With the Cup filling in for Lucy at her psychiatric help booth, Lombardi sought advice on how to have the Kings replicate last season’s success.

This Stanley Cup seems to have an affinity for man’s best friend — earlier in the summer it was spotted hanging out with Anze Kopitar’s dog, Gustl.
