GoPro is partnering with the NHL to give hockey fans a unique first-person perspective into the fastest game on ice. The first fruit of their collaboration is a scintillating video featuring a veritable who’s who of hockey.

Starring in the promo are Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin, Tyler Seguin, Jonathan Toews, P.K. Subban, Tuuka Rask, Patrice Bergeron, Taylor Hall, Patrick Kane, Henrik Lundqvist, and T.J. Oshie.

The old Indian adage went, “Don’t judge a man until you have walked two moons in his moccasins.” Updated it might read, “Don’t judge a hockey pro until you have watched two games from his skates.

The possibilities for mounting GoPro cameras on players or their equipment is almost endless, so it should be interesting in the future to see game-time replays from novel up-close angles.
