Tigers’ David Price and assorted Rays players take the Ice Bucket Challenge en masse

Tigers pitcher David Price, teamed up with several of his old Rays’ teammates to have the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge administered en masse by a bucket loader before last night’s game. The drenching had a chilling effect on the Rays’ offense as they were shutout by Rick Porcello and the Tigers 6-0. In today’s game, Price pitched a complete game one-hitter, but lost 1-0 on an unearned run.

THE PRICE IS RIGHT

With Justin Verlander and David Price having now been initiated in the Ice Bucket Challenge, that leaves Tigers pitcher Max Scherzer as the odd man out in Detroit’s triumvirate of Cy Young-award winners. Stay tuned…
