Back in 2019, with the addition of Anthony Davis, the Lakers got off to a promising 3-1 start, but more importantly the Southern California team got to bond at one of LeBron James’ world-class halloween parties. The King himself led the way by transforming himself into the iconic character from Tim Burton’s 1990 film classic…

LEBRON JAMES AS LEDWARD SCISSORHANDS

James, per usual, went all in on his Halloween costume. The 3-time NBA champ and 4-time MVP added an “L” to Edward Scissorhands to become an inflated basketball’s worst nightmare.

KYLE KUZMA AS BLUEFACE

Kyle Kuzma got tatted up and decked out as rapper Bluface with the caption, “I’m finna get direspectful.” That sentiment is exactly what opposing NBA teams have been fearing as the talented forward looks ready to return to action after a foot injury.

DWIGHT HOWARD AS RESPUTIA

Dwight Howard was literally BUSTing out of his costume depicting Resputia Latimore from Norbit, and looked like he was about to grab a pair of rebounds.

JAVALE MCGEE AS BEETLEJUICE

JaVale McGee, like James, took his inspiration from a Tim Burton film. While Beetlejuice as portrayed by Michael Keaton was already a handful, just imagine dealing with the 7-foot-tall version.

ALEX CARUSO AS DWIGHT SCHRUTE

Alex Caruso may play like a vanilla-flavored version of Michael Jordan, but he looks for all the world to be a middle-aged employee of a paper-supply company. So the talented guard dressing up as the character Dwight Schrute from The Office feels just about right.

DEMARCUS COUSINS AS EVIL CLOWN

It’s been reported that DeMarcus Cousins may be able to return to action during next year’s NBA Playoffs. If true, it will be a scarier prospect for Laker foes than his red-nosed Halloween mask.
