Lady Gaga got to live out a childhood fantasy on Sunday, singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl before the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers squared off. Bedecked in a glittery red pantsuit, the six-time Grammy Award winner absolutely slayed the Star Spangled Banner.
After Gaga’s performance, stars from across the sports spectrum took note, including Chris Evert, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Mike Piazza.

GAGA’S FAVORITE ANTHEM
As for Gaga, her favorite national anthem performance remains the one belted out by the late-great Whitney Houston at Super Bowl XXV in Tampa, Florida.
GOO GOO GAGA
As for us (and wordsmiths worldwide), we selfishly hope Gaga will one day collaborate with The Goo Goo Dolls and The Go Go’s on a cover of Queen’s “Radio Ga Ga” — stay tuned.
