While soccer continues to grow in popularity in the United States, it still suffers from a lack of recognition — just ask Clint Dempsey. In a video patterned after Matt Harvey’s street interviews on The Tonight Show, the U.S. Soccer captain took to NYC’s Central Park to ask people about himself.
Dempsey is probably thankful more New Yorkers didn’t recognize him after being the lone bright spot in the Seattle Sounders 4-1 loss to the NY Red Bulls.
