The world’s best 3-on-3 basketball team isn’t from from New York City, Chicago or Los Angeles; they hail, quite improbably, from Novi Sad, Serbia. Led by Dusan Domovic Bulut, the team gets virtually no support from their home city or country, and yet they continue to impress. Team Serbia has racked up multiple championships at international tournaments like the FIBA invitationals and Red Bull King of the Rock.

In 2014, the then reigning FIBA 3×3 World Champs crossed paths with Team USA two years after beating them in the quarter-finals of the 2012 FIBA 3×3 World Championships. In a game decided in the last minute, Serbia again came out on top by a score of 19-15.
