Having previously strutted her stuff with the Pussycat Dolls and as the season ten winner on Dancing with the Stars, Nicole Scherzinger could be considered an ideal candidate to perform alongside the world-famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
SCHERZINGER CAN CHEER
In 2015, the season finale of NBC’s I Can Do That, Scherzinger and fellow contestant Cheryl Burke both demonstrated they could hold their own with the legendary cheerleading squad. The two performed out in front of the regular squad members, wielding magenta-colored pompons as they danced to Jessie J’s “Burnin’ Up.”
AND THE WINNER IS…
Scherzinger entered the final I Can Do That vote tally trailing Cheryl Burke by two points, but edged out the former DWTS dancer by claiming three bonus points by winning the night’s last ensemble performance.
All the high kicking, jumping and flying (and a healthy dose of splits), earned Scherzinger a snazzy bit of hardware to set next to her mirror ball trophy and gold and platinum records.
STILL WORKING IT
Scherzinger has been keeping busy since her reality TV gameshow appearances. In 2016, she provided the voice for Moana‘s mother in Disney’s animated hit movie, and covered Michael Jackson’s “I Want You Back”. A year later she launched her first fragrance, Chosen, and in 2019 she served as a judge on Australia’s Got Talent.
