The Venice beachside basketball courts, which served as one of the venues in White Men Can’t Jump, were recently the site of some high-flying acrobatics from three of Southern California’s finest dunkers.

Haneef “Young Hollywood” Munir, Christon “C Stapes” Staples, and Michael “Airdogg” Stewart strutted their stuff(s) for a series of slow motion videos from Whistle Sports.

RIDICULOUS DUNKS: VOLUME ONE

Volume one is bookended by dazzling dunks by C Stapes, the first of which is a twisting 560 throw down that earns him top honors from this batch of rim benders. He also gets extra credit for commissioning beads with pendants featuring his in-action likeness.

RIDICULOUS DUNKS: VOLUME TWO

In volume two, Young Hollywood steals the show by leaping another player and then reaching back to execute a no-look jam after sailing past the rim. Hollywood was Andre 3000’s stunt-double for all of his dunks in the Will Ferrell comedy Semi-Pro.

RIDICULOUS DUNKS: VOLUME THREE

AirDogg edges out his on-court cohorts in volume three, with a two-footed takeoff on way to a human-hopping dunk. On Instagram, he cast himself in White Men Can’t Jump 2 in the role made popular by Wesley Snipes.
