This past Christmas, Philadelphia Flyers fan Kohlsen Fisher got an unwanted surprise when he opened one of his gifts. The video of his visceral reaction to receiving a Sidney Crosby Pittsburgh Penguins jersey quickly went viral.
CLAUDE GIROUX TO THE RESCUE
The Flyers were quick to recognize a nice little marketing opportunity, and a week later Kohlsen received a large care package by express mail including a signed jersey from Claude Giroux.

We saw your video and wanted to send you something from the Philadelphia Flyers. We would love to extend the invitation to you and your family to come down to the Wells Fargo Center to catch a game and meet up in the locker room afterwards. Can't wait to meet you. Go Flyers!

TAKE THE GOOD WITH THE BAD
For Kohlsen, attending the Flyers’ game on Saturday must have stirred some pretty intense mixed emotions. He got to witness a bit of history as precocious 18-year-old David Pastrnak scored his first two goals. Unfortunately, Pastrnak plays for the Bruins. On the plus side, Kohlsen got to visit the Flyers’ locker room. On the minus side, the Bruins drubbed the Flyers 3-1.
