While Google’s innovation in tech seems to be moving faster than the speed of light these days, it still seems like a stretch that their search engine would be capable of retrieving future results. And yet, a search conducted earlier today for “mlb mvp winners” revealed that Angels outfielder Mike Trout will win MLB’s yet-unannounced league-wide MVP award.

Search glitches (features?) aside, Trout does appear to be a lock to win this year’s AL MVP award after being edged out by Miguel Cabrera the past two seasons. If MLB truly were to introduce a unified MVP title, he would likely win that as well with his 6.4 WAR easily outpacing the National League’s best.
