It wasn’t exactly the ‘pitch-off’ that 13-year-old Mo’Ne Davis had requested with Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, but she did get to throw out the first pitch in Los Angeles before the Cy Young favorite took the mound.

Unlike the majority of ceremonial first pitches this year, Davis’ throw was over the plate for a picture-perfect strike.

Kershaw wasn’t too shabby either. He racked up his 17th win of the season while conceding only one run in eight innings of work against the Washington Nationals’ potent offense.

Davis, dressed in a UConn hoodie, met with Kershaw after the game and walked away with a signed bat.

Earlier, Yasiel Puig flipped the script by requesting her to sign a ball in the dugout.
