After last night’s hard fought victory over the Chicago Bulls, the Golden State Warriors moved to 14-0, just three wins shy from setting a new NBA standard for best opening record. Steph Curry led the team in scoring with 27 points, and continues to lead the league at 33.6 points per game.
For the Warriors to become the first team ever to start 17-0, they’ll have to win Sunday on the road versus the Denver Nuggets, Monday at home versus the Los Angeles Lakers, and next Friday at the Phoenix Suns.
STEPH CURRY VS DELL CURRY
Last Saturday, Curry surpassed his father Dell’s career total for three pointers and momentarily sits in 36th position in NBA history, just behind LeBron James. GQ magazine brought father and highly-marketable son together for a friendly game of H-O-R-S-E, with a predictable outcome…
"@stephencurry30 seems to move—with and without the ball—as though he’s tracing the scribbles of a kindergartner. Long, looping runs. Short, sharp cuts in claustrophobic corners. All great shooters seek to reduce the space between the catch and release, but Curry is the only player who seems to have eliminated that space altogether."
