Until his postseason seventh-inning swoons, Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw was frequently described as the team’s hero. But the real hero of the storied franchise has never appeared on the roster — in fact, his name isn’t even known.
The mystery good samaritan in a Dodgers cap didn’t hesitate to enter a flaming Fresno residence to rescue a man inside. Ironically, a man in a Yankees cap aided in the rescue by spraying water from a garden hose into the inferno.
In an age when sports fans have received so much publicity for bad behavior, these men have their priorities straight. Now can the Dodgers and Yankees track these men down and hook them up with some sweet box seats next spring? Heck, why not make it season tickets.
