For the first time in the relatively short history of the College Football Playoff rankings, the top ten is unchanged from the week before. Sitting atop the field are three 10-0 teams in Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame. They are followed in order by Michigan, Georgia, Oklahoma, LSU, Washington State, West Virginia and Ohio State.

Of all the teams in the CFP rankings, the number crunchers at FiveThrityEight have Clemson with the best chance at making the playoffs at 93 percent, but calculate the Crimson Tide equals the Tigers odds of winning the title at 31 percent.
