If you think gymnast Simone Biles might have shut things down for awhile after her record medal haul at the Rio Olympic Games in 2016, then you clearly didn’t know Jack Simone. While taking a year-long break from training, her schedule was fuller than ever.
After returning from Brazil, Biles was a presenter at MTV’s Video Music Awards, appeared on the Ellen Show, and starred in the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions. She also was featured in an ad for Beats by Dre fittingly entitled “Greatness Doesn’t Stop.”
73 QUESTIONS WITH VOGUE
As if conducting interviews on a daily basis isn’t enough, Biles flawlessly fielded 73 questions from Vogue magazine in under seven minutes.
Among the more interesting tidbits gleaned from Biles rapid-fire responses are that her gymnastics icon is Alicia Sacramone; the move she would most like to steal is the shaposh half on bars (named for former Soviet gymnast Natalia Shaposhnikova); and her walk-on song is “Calm Down” by G Eazy.
