RND 1: BRADY AND GRONK TO RAIDERS

Tom Brady was nearly a Las Vegas Raider according to UFC’s Dana White. During an alternate broadcast of UFC 278 over the weekend, White said the deal was so close to being done that Brady quote, “was already looking at houses. It wasn’t said yet that Rob Gronkowski was going to be coming. So Las Vegas would have had Brady and Gronk the year that the Bucs won the Super Bowl except then Raiders HC Jon Gruden blew the deal up.” Gronk confirmed this during the interview saying it was all true. SFL MVP KaVontae Turpin turned heads on Saturday when he returned not only a kickoff, but also a punt for a touchdown in the Dallas Cowboys’ 32-18 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Mike McCarthy called the return specialist ‘very dynamic’ when it comes to his role on special teams. Skip and Shannon rank how much impact he will have on the Cowboys on a 1-10 scale.

Usman appeared to be running away with the match early on, but Edwards rallied with a last minute kick to Usman’s head, knocking the fighter out cold and securing the welterweight title. Skip and Shannon reveal the simple mistake that cost Usman this fight, and decide if this was the greatest comeback in UFC history.
