In 2015, AB de Villiers reinforced his reputation as the world’s finest limited-overs batsman by leading South Africa to a lopsided victory over the West Indies with the fastest ODI century in cricket history.

De Villiers broke both the fastest ODI half-ton and century records, reaching 50 runs in just 16 balls, before collecting his stunning century off a mere 31 balls.

De Villiers mark shattered the old standard set by New Zealand batsman Corey Anderson, when he reached the century mark in 2014 with just 36 balls, also in a match against the West Indies.
