While his late-night talk show peers often pontificate on politics (see Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert), Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon has has always preferred inventing frivolous new games to play… like Drop It In and Random Object Target Practice This is a Tale of Two Russells appearing on one late night talk show two-and-one-half years apart.
RUSSELL WESTBROOK VS JIMMY FALLON
First up, we had Los Angeles Lakers hoopster Russell Westbrook, who — back when he was still with the Oklahoma City Thunder — dropped by the Tonight Show to take on Fallon in a game wherein they attempted to toss random objects through a pie-sized hole in a screen depicting a NFL receiver jumping for a reception.
RUSSELL WILSON IS ON TARGET
Flash forward to the spring of 2019, when Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson appeared on the Tonight Show and played game of target practice where Fallon tossed him random objects to hit with a football, like glass plates, cake and a Shamrock Shake.
The extra practice has clearly paid off, as Wilson’s throwing range has become global in scope.
