Kobe Bryant, who carved up opposing defenses while leading the Los Angeles Lakers to five NBA championship titles, is the franchise’s all-time leader in Win Shares with 172.7 for his career. Among theBlack Mamba’s many career highlights, the 2007-08 NBA MVP was an 18-time All Star (second most after Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s NBA record 20) and two-time Finals MVP.

After Bryant, the next biggest contributors to the Lakers by Win Shares are fellow guard Jerry West (162.6), center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (158.7), guard Magic Johnson (155.8), and center George Mikan (108.7).

The second team of Los Angeles legends, as measured by Win Share totals, is led by Elgin Baylor (104.2), whose high-flying statue greets visitors to the Staples Center. He is joined by Shaquille O’Neal (97.0), Vern Mikkelsen (83.4), James Worthy (81.2) and Byron Scott (65.8).
