While Conor McGregor was favored to win his return to the octagon versus Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at UFC 246, it’s probably safe to say that absolutely no one saw the fight unfolding the way it did.

After missing with a ferocious left straight, McGregor clinched with Cowboy in the center of the octagon, then proceeded to batter his opponent senseless with repeated shoulder strikes to the face. A kick to Cowboy’s head and few punches later and the fight was over almost before it started. Fans took to Twitter to reacts to what transpired…
