Earlier this year, Major League Lacrosse midfielder Paul Rabil was traded from the Boston Cannons to the New York Lizards. No matter which team’s jersey he has donned throughout his storied career, Rabil has continued to train relentlessly — including dodging trees/defenders in the woods.

''I was always dodging trash cans down my street. I was running and jumping through the trees, pretending they were defenders. But ultimately, that drive — that lack of resources — gives lacrosse players an edge.''
